From June 18 till September 22 the exhibition Balenciaga and Spanish painting takes place at Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Madrid. The exhibition consists of 90 of clothing made by the prestigious Spanish fashion designer Balenciaga (1895-1972) paired with paintings created by the best exponents of Spanish painting from the 16th to the 20th centuries. For the occasion our Cotton Flower Vases, Cushion Covers, Soap Bars and Mousepads have been adapted to designs and framings (done by the Museum team) inspired by this exhibition. Three of these are remarkable: the myrrh fragrance soap, the rectangular cushion cover and the fabric`s vase that reinterpret the embroidery of a Balenciaga dress.
