Silk scarf inspired by the modernist façade of the building located at Corsega St 248 in Barcelona.
Sgraffiato is an ornamental technique widely used for façade cladding. It consists of applying two layers of different colors that allow to reveal designs by selectively removing the outer layer. With the rise of Modernism in Catalonia in the late XIXth century designs became very elaborate and they were used in many facades of Barcelona’s Eixample area.
